Background Information:........... The Beanie Baby empire is 17 years old. Beginning in the early 90s it has seen a phenomenal success with its small plush line of animals. Time will tell how long The Beanie Baby will stay in production. Children today don't seem quite as interested as generations past. However, six billion dollars in 17 years is quite a success story.
